Formerly known as the Gold Coast, it gained independence from Britain in 1957, becoming
the first sub-Saharan nation to break free from colonial rule. Gold, cocoa, and more recently
oil form the cornerstone of Ghana’s economy.

- Evening: Relax on Cape Coast Beach or enjoy the vibrant nightlife in the area.

- Evening: Explore Kejetia Market, one of West Africa's largest markets, where you can shop for crafts and try local foods.
Day 6
Lake Bosomtwe and Craft Villages
- Morning: Take a scenic drive to Lake Bosomtwe, a peaceful crater lake surrounded by lush hills. Enjoy swimming or canoeing.
- Afternoon: Visit nearby craft villages such as Bonwire (kente cloth weaving), Ahwiaa (wood carving), and Ntonso (adinkra cloth making) to watch artisans and shop for unique souvenirs.
- Evening: Return to Kumasi for dinner and relax.
